WORDPOWER has been in business, under the same owner, as Study Buddy, trading from the WORDPOWER website, since 2000. The company was started for the sale of Study Buddy reading stands. Study Buddy was invented and developed by the writer of "The Lonely Shade" as an adjunct to her main interest, writing.

Study Buddy was originally marketed in sunshine yellow and various sizes but we listened to customer feedback and finally settled on the Study Buddy D/L in cool white
which is such a great favourite today.

Study Buddy D/L is made from polypropylene and is recyclable, along with its adjustment strings and the box it comes in.

"Study Buddy" is a registered trademark which,
together with the Study Buddy design, is registered at the 
Patent Office (Intellectual Property Office).

WORDPOWER is a trademark.
The name has been in use by the owner since 1998.

"The Lonely Shade" booklet of original, sympathetic funeral and bereavement poetry is printed by an environmentally 
friendly method and is the second poetry booklet which has been published by the author. The first, "Poetry for Pregnancy", is now out of print but it is expected that the second edition will be available soon.
